Thursday, March 1st, 2012Lovers of books, handmade crafts and delicious wine, we created our wedding around these themes. We designed the invitation as a “Growing Together” Scout Book with chapter stories from our relationship. We were married amongst the vines at a vineyard on Long Island. On the farm, we loved sneaking away for photos with the Alpacas! We crafted paper flowers for decorations, bouquets/boutonnieres and a flower ceremony. Our guests enjoyed an italian feast while sitting at tables adorned with classic books. They went home with local jam for favors. We ended the night right with silly snaps in a DIY photo booth and some favorite scoops from a gelato bar.

Alison’s Save the Date

A few weeks ago, Alison & Scott’s Save the Date hit our mailboxes–look how gorgeous! How will she top their invitations? Everyone is dying to see!
These were Stardream Shimmer pocket folders showcasing their engagement photoshoot across the belly band closure, address labels and announcement. Adorable “Save the Date Calendar stickers” were tied on with organza ribbon. My favorite insert was an iconographic timeline story of how they met, their first date, and how they welcomed Riley, their puppy into their lives, etc.
